Michael T. Nolan received his Bachelor’s Degree from Fairfield University. Having worked in marketing and sales for a number of years, Michael decided to change careers whereupon he pursued his Juris Doctor at Touro Law School. While at Touro, he was a member of the Moot Court Honors Board even serving as the Associate Editor-in-Chief. He participated and finished in first place in the annual Nassau County Bar Association Hon. Elaine Stack Moot Court Competition. Further, he excelled in his classes centered around criminal practice, including Criminal Procedure taught by the Hon. Mark Cohen and Trial Practice taught by the Hon. Jerald Carter. He began his legal career while in law school, having worked as a paralegal for a few law firms covering the fields of personal injury, insurance defense and professional malpractice all while attending classes during the evening. Following that and after graduation, Michael took a position at Touro Law Center's Disaster Relief Clinic aiding those still affected by Hurricane Sandy. Michael then shifted his focus to defending the indigent, through his work as a District Court Staff Attorney of the Nassau County Legal Aid Society. There, he handled thousands of criminal cases before leaving for private practice.
